   Propose an idea

   On the Participate Oulu website, you can explore and support ideas proposed by others and submit your own idea.

   13/02/2023 - 14/05/2023

   Evaluation and co-development of ideas

   After the search for ideas, all feasible ideas are developed into proposals for vote together with the communities and experts working for the city. A budget will be created for the ideas for the voting.

   15/05/2023 - 28/05/2023

   Voting

   During the voting phase, Oulu residents can vote on which proposals they want to move forward to implementation. Every resident in Oulu who is 13 years of age (this year) or older can vote.

   Vote counting

   Publication of results

   After the results of the vote are counted, the results will be published on this site.

   Implementation

   After the vote, based on the results, the city will implement the ideas that receive the most votes and fit into the budget of 70,000 euros.
