Participatory budgeting in Oulu in 2022

The money would be used to renovate the Oulunlahti beach and to remove the growths of horsetail. 

Impelemntation progress:

• A total of 12 000 € was used to renovate the beach. 4 000 € of which was from the participatory budgeting. Reeds and sludge were removed from the beach and water area. Trees and bushes in the are were cleared, sand was added to the beach and new soil was added to the grassy areas and new grass was planted.
