The money would be used to organize nature trips for young people in the fall of 2025. The activities would include three guided trips to local nature sites and animal farms. Young people would participate in planning and implementing the activities.

The Oulu University Teacher Training School’s (Oulun normaalikoulu) volunteering club explores different volunteering sectors and visits volunteering workshops, for example, in nursing homes. The students plan and implement volunteer work for different needs, such as children and the elderly. Volunteer work would be done in Linnanmaa, Kaijonharju, Puolivälinkangas, Tuira and the city centre. The money would be used for the travel costs of students and the work costs of guiding teachers.

The money would be used to organize guided ball game sessions in the Oulu Hall during the day in the fall of 2025. The guided sessions would be organized once per week.

The money would be used to implement anti-bullying magic performances in the following daycare centres: Tuokkonen, Vesala, Mäntylä-Snellman, Heinätori, Mäntypelto, Kaakonpoika, Martinniemi and Asema Daycare Centres. The length of the performances would be 30 minutes for 3–6-year-olds and 20 minutes for 1–2-year-olds.

The money would be used to organize events and concerts for children and families in different libraries. The events and concerts would be organized especially in Oulu’s border areas.

A poetry path would be built in Hollihaka where signs attached to park benches would present local poems, thoughts and atmospheres. The texts would be produced by local school children, youth workshops and other communities. The money would be used to build a parking area along Isoniementie which would lead to the observation tower along pre-existing paths. The length of the path would be 1,2 kilometers. A signpost would be inserted into Virpiniemi that leads to the city’s website about hiking sites.

The Ravander block on Saaristonkatu is known for the wall covered in brown tile. The building will be dismantled in the future, but before that, the deteriorating wall could be revitalized with street art. The long walls would be painted to resemble the local nature, spirit and, above all, the future. The painting would include elements of graffiti and street art to create a youthful and urban atmosphere.

The paintings would be done on separate plates which would be attached to the tile wall. When the building is dismantled, the plates would be removed and re-attached onto the construction fence. The mural would be created in cooperation with Oulun Katutaide ry.

The money would be used to acquire lightweight audience stands next to the artificial football field in Pateniemi.

The length of the path would be approximately two kilometers and there would be about ten stops along the path. The implementation would include a footpath and a platform on the beach.
